Pamporovo is one of the most popular ski resorts in bulgaria and offers tourists, especially winter sports enthusiasts the opportunity to have a party after the sun has set on the excellent ski slopes of this ski resort

The most popular places are Dak's Bar in Snezhanka Hotel, Night Flight in Rozhen, BJ's in Hotel Perelik and the White Hart. Each bar has its own style offering different types of food, including traditional Bulgarian food and beers.

The White Hart has a good reputation, often full and designed as a traditional English pub, they have amusements and a karaoke. You will find a variety of music in this Bulgarian ski resort, including dance and rock music.

Drinks, you can find all your usual favourites with extra selection of german and eastern European beers.

The place to go to eat has to be the panorama bar at the top of the focal point of the resort, Snezhanka Tower. The tower is 2030 m above sea level and the views are amazing. The whole ski area can be seen from the tower and you can identify all the pistes to plan your days skiing ahead. Greece to the south can be seen and to the north the observatory for those who like to watch the stars, the observatory is well worth a visit.

The area around Stoikite can be seen and the new ski lift from this pretty rhoddopi village will connect Stoikite to Snezhanka and 110 km of superb winter pistes when the perelik sports project has been fully implemented. Nightlife and recreational facilities will start to appear all over the pamporovo resort, big plans are already happening in the stoikite village.

A new restaurant and hotel will be built and within the new ski lift station will be a restaurant and hire equipment shop. Stoikite is turning itself into the upper end of the market location for the more discerning skier in the pamporovo ski resort.

Pamporovo ski resort and the smolyan area are truly a most pretty place to spend a winter ski holiday. But there is much more to offer than just skiing and the apres ski in the local bars. There is some truly beautiful landscapes which many a visitor in the ski season returns to enjoy what this area of the rhoddoppies has to offer in the spring and summer. There are many health spars, lakes and small villages.

The village of shiroka laka is worth a visit just a few miles drive from stoikite village and the new ski lift station. It is preserved as an architectural reservation and some of the buildings there are a great example of traditional bulgarian property.
